Anyone ever seen this movie? It butchers history just like most of Ridley Scott's movies tend to do, but it features a pretty awesome main theme by Vangelis.

Start singling out Ridley for something that every motherf*cker in Hollywood does and we could have trouble.

He's one of the BEST filmmakers alive - and I take issue with a good dozen of his films.

Once perhaps.

Now he's easily one of the most hit or miss filmmakers alive. He hasn't made anything of relevance since Black Hawk Down. I'm at the point now when I hear Ridley Scott is directing (insert movie name here), I roll my eyes because I know it's going to be mediocre.

American gangster, kingdom of heaven, and matchstick men were pretty good and they were after black hawk down.

The director's cut was good. The theatrical version was crap.
