Because the majority of nega posters have never played a sport and don't realize how difficult, if not almost impossible, it is to perform at a high level on a consistent basis.

Deion didn't say that stop lying.. Deion said he has to get down to LSU to see how we keep putting out good DBs. He did not say to get down here cause Collins was not the best DB on are team... You just told a flat out lie.

this board always needs someone to take a shite on and all the while act like a bunch of experts on everything. go back to class.

played Cooper better than anyone in the country

I'm happy for Collins seeing how hard he's worked to get here, but this is untrue. Cooper caught 8 for 83 and a TD vs LSU. He caught 2 for 22 vs. Arky, and they had one corner shadowing him.

Collins made plays during his career as a Tiger. He's not a perfect player, but who is. His measurables are off the charts, which is one reason his draft stock is rising.

Why does our fan base keep trying to put our own players down.

We got a guy here getting a favorable draft stock analysis and is being liked by pro teams and all we can do is sit here and say "ohh wow I thought he sucked. These NFL guys are idiots!"

Like damn. Just be happy for the kid.

If he can hold a NFL team's best WR to that every Sunday, the Saints can take him at 13 and I'll jump for joy.

While you are correct here, Collins did still play him very well. There was the one TD, but other than that Cooper was a non-factor. Collins made a huge leap from 2013-2014. Showing that he can improve, having great size, and being athletic as any other corner gets you noticed.

I'm not trying to bash Collins, but let's take off the P&G glasses. Cooper got his. There's nothing wrong with admitting that, especially since Cooper was one of the best players in the country.

He got a TD. Other than that he had 7 catches for 60 yards. His 83 yards was the second lowest total of his year. Collins held him to 5.5 yards short of his YPC. I'm of an opposite mind then you. I'm not saying he shut him down, but he did slow him down. There's nothing wrong with you admitting that, being that Cooper was the best WR in the country last year.

Did I say he didn't slow him down? No, I didnt. I simply pointed out that whoever said Collins did the best job of anyone on Cooper was incorrect and that Cooper got his.

I don't care what you think, giving up 80 yards and a TD is nothing to brag about. At the same time, It's not anything for Collins to be ashamed of either.

Except Sherman has good hands. Collins will have a similar career to Thatold Simon in the league. They are very similar skill wise.

Why is that surprising? He has the prototypical size and his ~4.4 sealed the deal.

If the Cardinals pick him that would be my new fav NFL team. Comparison too Simon IMO is only bout the length bout the same weight to, the guy has way better character an projects more as a starter under the right scheme an staff speed kills! When he ran down Gordon he opened a lot of eyes great hustle, crazy how one big play can blow you up!$

simon has been healthy for like 1.5 seasons, his career is just starting. How could you say such a thing?

Skill wise they aren't similar, they just have similar builds

I took Cooper "getting his" to mean you felt Collins didn't slow him down. "His" being his average Saturday in college football. He was 50 yards short of yards per game and his ypc was down 5.5. It's a good day for almost any other receiver, but for Cooper it was well below average and Collins should get some credit. All I'm saying.

Big corners are in demand in the league because of what Seattle is doing.
