Playing Golf with my Dad and 2 Guys in the Member-Guest. Guy on the other team told my Dad "If y'all lose it's his fault (pointing at me). Your son saved my life 2 years ago in the ER". Dad told me several times he had never been prouder of anything in his life.

Professionally, at two different jobs I've been put in charge of older and far more experienced people.
Personally, my best friend was diagnosed with lung cancer and spent the last month of his life in the hospital. He told me I was like family to him and he was proud to be my friend. He passed a week later.

So I used to teach sound engineering to high school and college kids at Northwestern University in Chicago during the summer.
This was all part of bigger program, so the kids I taught had no experience or knowledge of sound engineering before they came to my classes.
Initially most of them didn't give a shite and thought that being in sound was a punishment of sorts. Only 1/10 of all students got chosen, randomly, to take the course.
One day after a lesson the lady that runs the program and most of youth education for Chicago came up to me and said, "You are an amazing teacher."
I held it together until I got back to our provided housing and I started balling.
I work in a field where you are ALWAYS wrong and are berated constantly for it, and since it's your "artistry" it is never not painful to be told you suck.
So hearing that what I was doing was right was so sensational, it was like being able to feel someone touching you after being paralyzed for so long.

In the film industry, nobody gets as much shite as the painters and sound guys.

A girl at a bar once told me that she would suck me dry. Does that count? I didn't take her up on the offer because I was dating a she-beast at the time.

I had a character in a book which was made into a movie based on me, I'm told.
Haven't spoken to the authoress since 1985 but it was a very flattering characterization.
