Who are your most hated TV characters?

Not necessarily ones you think are the worst but just the ones you despise?
Phoebe from Friends - This is hands down my #1 spot. I have never laughed once or even cracked a smile at anything this annoying character has ever said or done. There is a way to create a quirky character and make it work, and this is not it.
Sheldon from Big Bang Theory - I have seen about 5 episodes of this show and I don't get the appeal at all. Intensely overrated and unfunny, but that's for a different thread. Even seeing this character in the commercials makes me cringe and bewildered about why people are so obsessed with him and the show.
Debra from Everyone Loves Raymond - I don't like this show at all but my folks always watched it and I always noticed what an utterly annoying bitch this woman is on this show.
I used to think Skyler White, but she has her moments on Breaking Bad. She gets an honorable mention. So do Joffrey Baratheon and AJ Soprano.

I could not disagree with your list more.
The young female reporter from House of Cards made me stop watching the show.
The young female idealist from Newsroom was one of the many reasons I stopped watching the show.
The woman screaming on the beach in the opening scenes of Lost.
The hexenbeast from Grimm that is the villain, then being helped to protect her baby, then a bad guy again. I stopped watching it when she made herself Juliette. Juliette also goes on this list.
Basically any irrational, entitled woman.

I don't think he counts because you are meant to hate him. He was intentionally given zero redeeming qualities. I think the others on this list were meant to be somehow likable or relatable but mostly come off as worthless.

Angela from the Office. She should have died unhappy and alone but the lame arse writers had to start scripting happy endings for all the characters.
