Good. He's done.

ETA in response to downvotes: Good as in I don't want to see a great player continue to play like shite on a terrible team and risk injury.

Very nice career. Carried some miserable Jax offenses.

My vote to replace Warren Sapp on NFL Network. He filled in a few times and wasnt bad.

One of my first fantasy football loves. I will always have a soft spot for MJD.

Dude was so small and would just run motherfrickers over, like a bowling ball. The Jacksonville backfields with him and Greg Jones were fun to watch.

Kinda sucks he had to spend his career in Jags purgatory (going to Oakland was somehow a downgrade from there...yikes), but he was a very good player.

Don't all RB's though? Especially 5'7" ones. 9 years with his size is incredible in this day and age.

RBs take such a beating in the NFL that this is usually what happens. There isn't really a slow decline for a RB. Steven Jackson is another that fell off fast. It'll happen to Frank Gore soon.

That's not the point. He went from a stud RB to Trent Richardson territory in a very short period of time.

Made being a Jags fan bearable. Great and underrated player and a really nice guy off the field.
