Are Michael Kors watches decent quality? Looking for an inexpensive backup to my breitling avenger. Ordered a $50 pos stuhrling and sent it right back. Now looking at a MK but don't know much about them.

Buy a freaking Timex for a beater watch before purchasing a clothing designer's name.

OK. Look at the people that wear those watches and decide for yourself.

Top notch quality, in the same league as Fossil. Ironically.

I'm just looking for something in the $150 and under range that I can wear casually and swim/shower, etc without it falling apart.

I have a Hamilton as a backup for my nicer watch.

What type of watch are you looking for?

I have my eye on a Maratac Mid Pilot II, and a Hamilton Valiant Auto.

you wear a Breitling (I do as well) and you are considering MK. That's funny shite.

I'd go with any slew of other brands before that, Citizen, Seiko, Luminox, etc.

I think someone said MK is made by Fossil. So go buy a Fossil and save 50%.

In that range, Seiko or Citizen Eco-Drive Diver watches.

Something like this?

You can find a used Seiko Monster for around $150. Hands down the best watch in that price range.

I forbid you from buying Michael Kors and anything Macys sells, unless you're looking for a G-Shock.

Go to Watchuseek.com and surf the "Affordables" forum. You'll find all your answers there.
