Yes but threads like "the season is over" are retarded unless you thought we'd win the SEC or NCAA tourney preseason.

Exactly. And it looks to me like he put together a stretch of games where he played well, throw in a under the legs dunk, and hes confident hes done enough to impress NBA scouts. No need to to put out any more effort this season. This team got outscored in the paint and outrebounded by an undersized Tennessee team! If they cared 1 iota about making the tourney, that would not have happened last night.

I agree threads saying the season is over are retarded, but so is burying your head in the sand saying UT was just hot last night. They were hot because our d was a flaming piece of shite.
There should be legitimate concern that Jones struggles getting his team ready, We have a lot of potential and the season isn't over but we have concerns.

Sure, we may make the tourney. And yes, that is technically "progress" in relation to the last two years. But I'm not sure how you don't see these glaring issues and aren't extremely disappointed by what has transpired, especially in light of what we could have locked up last night with a decent effort and a win over a .500 team at home that we dismantled 3 weeks ago.

Not arguing that we lost to a team we should've beat but if you've seen anything this season you would've seen that this team can beat or lose to any team any given night and 1 loss shouldn't be surprising or the end of the world.
We have a great shot to beat Arkansas this weekend bc that's who this team is.

2?-11 with an rpi in the 50s, and the 6th best SEC record=NIT bid. Nothing short of winning it all in Nashville will get this team in the dance. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you have to be honest with yourself. This team has 4 inexplicably bad losses.
