The soft players of today wouldn't be able to handle the physicality of that team.
Also, Michael Jordan.
Yep

You put Giannis on an all-NBA team?
Paul, Harden, Durant, Lebron, Davis might be the best starting five at this moment.
Curry, Westbrook, Cousins would make very strong bench options, but I would lean towards the Dream Team.

advancement in basketball has not relied on break throughs in strength and conditioning & supplements like T&F does. Silly comparison
on another note, ask yourself what Carl Lewis would be in 2015 if he were 23 and have been training for the Olympics since he was 15.

I actually agree, but your roster is questionable at best.
I think Curry and Russ are better than CP3 right now, and I wouldn't want 3 PG on a team when Lebron can play PG at times too. So I'd want a guy like Giannis/Kawhi/PG to give me lineup options and versatility.
I want DJ strictly for defense. A team doesn't play 12 men, I'd want a guy like him specifically for defense/rebounding if needed. I like Ibaka for defense and stretching the floor.

Haha frick no. The super friends of today would get their teeth knocked down their throat. You think Barkley bird Jordan and that whole crew would lose to today's softies. Not happening.

You are fricking retarded.
Carl Lewis ran a 9.86. The fastest high school time ever is by Jeff Demps. Demps ran a 10.01.
ETA: Apparently, a guy named Trentavis Friday ran a 10 flat back in July. I was unaware of that, but regardless, prime Carl Lewis would smoke any high schooler ever.
Lewis held the record as recently as 1994. The ten second barrier was broken in the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.
As a recently as 2007, Asafa Powell held the world record with a 9.74 until Usain Bolt came in and obliterated it. Bolt is an extreme outlier.

Magic was far from his prime in '92?
An MJ/Magic backcourt is GOAT and that is not up for debate.
AD is awesome, but other than him you have HUGE problems in the front court, too.
LBJ would get his.
Conclusion: stop posting for a while

Lebron as a sg?
And Giannis anywhere near this team?
Wtf?

The whole 90's team had a totally different mindset. They were killers.
The only one that has that mindset at the moment is Lebron. Durant and Westbrook are getting there.

I just wish the OP didn't post such a head scratching lineup

Lebron as a SG was the best I could do when I wanted LBJ KD and AD starting. Could swap Bron and KD but I wouldn't wanna put AD at 5 and Bron at 4 to start, although that would be a very intriguing lineup to use at times throughout the game.
Like I said, Giannis size/versatility makes him a great fit for a team like this. Is he a top 12 player? No. But his ability to play multiple positions effectively would make him an ideal 9-12 man.

are we going by 90's rules as far as how hard you could foul or were allowed to play defense?
or are we going with the flop city movement and entitled attitude towards officials that help shape today's superstars?
