Yeah, I'm going to take lessons on loyalty from a kid who's been with LSU for a year, while I've been a Tiger for more than a quarter century. Nice try, Jamal. You're a great football player, but we can handle fan stuff just fine on our own.

Yeah showing up to a basketball game and staying until the end of a football game are the same thing as making millions of dollars

Sports are a form of entertainment just like music, movies, etc. I couldn't imagine an artist calling out their fans for leaving early because they are putting on a shitty performance.

So I'm guessing Jamal attends the LSU tennis matches and Golfing events. No you say? Then shut the frick up Jamal

Not the point at all. If you attend the event, stay to the end. That's what he's saying.

I left with 1:42 left when this team literally gave up and didn't care anymore. Why the hell am I gonna waste anymore of my night? Why should I care if the team doesn't?

didn't he send this tweet out before the game started? Sounds like he could hold his tongue for a while, but just lost it when he was waiting on tipoff

Even though he's right, I'm sure he will catch some heat for that Twitter from LSU.

This team is a year away from greatness.
No need to start trouble about a team that has clear problems since the start of the season.

Next year will be LSU's time, this year is just players getting ready for that.

Still love Jamal, he was dedicated all year and brought fire to the games even though others players looked defeated in losses.

There is 0 reason a student athlete should be posting those kind of things on twitter. Those kind of things should be discussed with friends or teammates. It embarrasses the program and makes him look like an arse. I don't care if he's right or not. THOUSANDS of people pay a lot of money to goo to these games. I'm in college myself and only get to attend one game a year because it's super expensiv

Basketball = Free for students
Football = $12 for students
Super expensiv?

And he's wrong. Don't get your arse kicked, and I'll stay. When the game is no longer in doubt, I'm free to leave. I paid my money so I can leave when I want.

He should worry about trying to make sure his team doesn't lose five games again this year. I'm tired of players and athletes blaming fans for their crappy performance.

You play for the football team for that long? I don't know how you can say you're "more of a Tiger" than anyone, especially a soon-to-be sophomore who signed to play football here. Not his fault he's not old like you.

BTW, everything he said is true. The fan base has been needing to be called out for quite some time. Glad he did it.

This is exactly the shite he's talking about. To be a fan means to SUPPORT your team. When they're down is when a team needs fans the most. Some people truly don't get it.

Jamal can seriously piss off. We were down 15 with a couple minutes left. Why would anyone stay for that in a weeknight when they can just a go home and relax before they have to go to work in the morning. Sorry Jamal but people do more things in their life than party and play football

I live 2 minutes from Nichols. How you like the area, man?

Ps. Sorry about the thread derailment, but it's just a bitchfest anyway.
