This wasn't a play in game. We werent even in the last 8 jn much less last 4 in.
tonite may put us back on the bubble though.
Everyone said going int last 3 just win 1 of 3 and be ok...including joe...

And some of you are saying we have to beat Arkansas AND make a run in the sec tourney? Seriously do some of you keep up with anything besides hopelessness?

Tonite Is frustrating but by no means knocked us oit of the tourney

LSU fans love misery. You're spoiling it for them.

They heard Farnham tell them all night it was then some producer told him to stop contradicting Lunardi and he relented.

And if we lose to Arky saturday, how confident will you be? It's a must win now

Tonight was a must win. They were the only 10 seed not in last four byes which means they were on the bubble. They just lost at home badly one of the worst teams in conference. They will now be on the last four out/ last four in bubble, which doesn't account for upsets in conference tournaments.

Basically, they now have to beat Arkansas on the road or make a huge run in the tournament. Beating some shite team, then losing to UK won't get it done.

You are taking the whole ESPN bracketolgy shite way too seriously. The selection committee couldn't give a rat's arse about what the writers think. Bad losses are very damaging!!

No it's not, we have two games left, we have to win one of them, it'd be really nice to win that one though

The best thing about LSU basketball team this year is showing Mickey and Martin are not NBA ready and must come back. I am not sure if Mickey will be ready after next year either.

This must be what Jones told the team before the game.

But now the pressure to beat Arky is much higher. Assuming we lose to Arky, we're back on the bubble.

That i agree with. While we have horrendous losses thats whay mid seed teams do..its why they are seeded where they are. Thankfully the bubble is really hard this year

LSU now actually has a shot at making a run in the SEC tournament because they'll probably fall to the 6 spot.

Yeah, I think people are overestimating how safe LSU was before this. They will be right on the cut line before the Arkansas game. They are now the obvious 6th out of 6 possible SEC teams, and will be back at low-50s RPI. 2-4 of the last four in will not make the tournament because of upsetsin conference tournaments. I think the odds went from about 80% to less than even money that they make the tournament after this loss.
