I don't even recall if I've ever tried to watch a MLS matches on the DirectTV special channels but see them listed and watch the Champions/Europa League and EPL matches on them all the time.

Same block of channels - but the MLS games are part of MLS Direct Kick (the season PPV package).
Occasionally you can catch one in the 620-699 regional block, though.
