re: door handles on the inside of public restrooms

I'll literally stand at the door and wait for someone to come in. If there are no paper towels, I will not touch the door handle on the way out. I'll wait for someone to walk in and slip on through to leave.
I'm always amazed at how disgusting people are. Take a crap and leave without washing. Pick their nose and eat it. I saw one guy on a plane pull out a big old chunk of ear wax and eat that.
Who are these people? Am I the only left on this earth that is clean?

After thinking about the fire code issue of an out going swing for a door, NOT being enforced, I wondered if the reason is to not cause a suction into the public area of the restroom cooties.
