Clearly the same thing
Friends, food, alcohol, not necessary at all to attend. Seems almost identical to me

So I guess the OT hates open bar weddings and tailgates too?

Yea. My level of intoxication and general demeanor is the same at a tailgate getting ready for a football game as it is mingling with my high school friend's grandparents waiting to take a bite of a cupcake. Those two things are the exact same. Good analogy.

Well I figured if you hated your friends, alcohol, and food tailgates would be a nightmare for you

So OT Alphas let me get this straight, I am supposed to not want to go to a party where my friends are that has free food and free alcohol, where I have to do nothing but show up and be a boss. Why exactly should I be against this?

Because Clay Travis says it is "emasculating," duh.

You know what else has friends, alcohol, and food? Sunday brunch. Quit acting like all of these things are equally fun.

Equally fun? Maybe not. But if you dont have a good time at a party with free food and alcohol, you need new friends, or you suck at life

Not sure the "attention whore" moniker is accurate. At least in my experience, either friends or family put it on for the couple. And the only difference between a regular party and a gender reveal party was a cake with either blue or pink inside.

Lot of insecurity in here.

Sunday brunch is awesome. A different kind of awesome from a tailgate, but awesome nonetheless.

This is the OT. Gotta act like you hate everything and go along with the group think mentality or forever be labeled a beta.

Did you see the pics of my son, Fitz?

Admittedly, I skipped the only gender reveal part y I was invited to. Are people passing around a handle of fireball and crushing shotguns all day at these parties? Is loud music being blared and are fine women getting hammered? If so, I retract all previous statements about gender reveal parties. I will go to the next one.

Ones I have been to:

Men drink and eat all day for free while watching sports on TV. If that is what is wrong with the world/makes me a beta/makes me a fig/ then so be it

The question should be what did you do instead of going to that party? Probably not all that, so I don't understand the reference.

Been to quite a few GRPs as well as some baby showers and they're both a great time. I'd probably give the edge to the baby showers though.
