Can't say we deserved a point but we had lots of chances. Gylfi hits the bar on the FK. Ball cleared off line to make it 2-2 and seconds later it's 3-1. Lloris tips header wide with seconds to go.

Oh and our starting striker collapsed on the field 6 minutes into the game. Very thin there already. Hard fought but too many mistakes on defense. Taylor was woeful. Routledge is suck.

That pic is awesome

I want a gif of LvG and Giggs after the goal. Would like to know what Giggsy was thinking at that moment

Gomis is getting checked for precaution. Has a history of low blood pressure problems. Monk says that he said he wanted to stay on

F-ing lucky mancs.

you've gotta be kidding me.

There has never been a more shite team in the top 4. Holy god they have played bad to be that high.

They should not have won. Should've had a penalty against them, and Newcastle missed a 2v1 breakaway. Very lucky to get those 3 points.

They did create a lot of chances, though.

I guess. Compared to the rest of the season.

Still not convincing or decisive at all. Still not sure what LvG is trying to do over there.

Let's also keep in mind Newcastle is literally one of the worst sides in the whole league. I don't care what their position in the table is.

Krul gave them two points. Should have been a draw.

Yeah he seemed a touch off. I honestly thought a draw would have been a fair result to both teams. Both teams had several good chances missed, several good chances saved by great saves, Chelsea just got lucky the lino miscalled this play. Other than that, most of the major decisions were called fairly well imo (outside of those few corners given instead of goal kicks we talked about earlier).

Nah, Krul kept them in the game.

I don't see this United game ending with 22 players on the field.

United managed to mantain possession in the attacking third, created a handful of quality chances, and netted three points against a competent team committed to sitting behind the ball and striking out with the occasional counter attack.

They played well enough today. Certainly not the performance some, those who didn't really watch, are making it out to be.

Extremely tough run of games coming up, anything can happen.
