Having a hard time finding some Key Limes for a thing in the near future. Checked Target, Whole Foods, Alexander's, Trader Joes, Albertsons and the produce stand on Perkins.

No luck so far.

Anyone seen any recently or know of some obscure place to find Key Limes in Baton Rouge within the next week?

Wish I'd known. The work gang ate lunch at the Mexican supermarket on Florids today and they had a ton of awesome looking produce, but I couldn't tell you if they had them. Might be worth a look-could always hit the Beverage Store while you're close

Yep. That's probably what I'll have to do. Not all that familiar with Ethnic Stores. Should I just Google Ethnic Grocery Stores Baton Rouge?

Mrs FT has an aunt with a key lime tree in BR.

They are a lot harder to come by in this area. I remember seeing a ratio to make a key lime flavor from regular lime juice. Forgot the additions, but made a pie with it once.

Peak season at least here in Florida is during the hot months.....they are highly susceptible to frost damage.....so this might not be the opportune time to find them

Thanks. I'll check the ethnic places before going in a different direction. I can easily find mangos and pineapples all year long but these things have been hard to find.

I'll have to give them a call.

How do you say "do you have any Key Limes?" in Spanish?

Not sure about key limes but "tienes un kilo de cocaína" should get you a key.

Ah thanks. If we ever start trafficking limes that may come in handy.

Just about any grocery store has it. I know Winn Dixie on Burbank has it.
