Cpt. Beefheart & His Magic Band. Seriously, I'd like to have seen them live.

Pantera.

I actually got to see Pantera by sheer accident. they were playing at the San Antonio Rodeo and I was there with my parents in high school.

But I never got to see Nirvana, nor the full Grateful Dead. Also never saw Pearl Jam.

I'd have to say either Genesis or Stevie Ray Vaughan. I saw Genesis at the Centroplex but that was post-Gabriel and post-Hackett and they were well on their way to becoming a shitty pop band by that point. I lived in Houston for 5 years in the 80's and somehow managed to never see Stevie Ray play.

Same for me. I still regret not going to see them at Voodoo a few years back. I was in Nashville at the time.

I wish I would have seen Queen.

A friend went to see Black Sabbath with Dio during the Heaven and Hell tour, so I missed that. However I did see them when they toured as "Heaven and Hell" in 2007 so that kind of made up for that.

I did manage to see Van Halen in their prime (Fair Warning tour), Ozzy Osbourne with Randy Rhoads, Stevie Ray Vaughan twice including in Austin, King Crimson (Fripp/Belew/Levin/Bruford), and Rage Against the Machine. I was going to say I saw Rush during the Moving Pictures tour, but they're just as good now so you didn't have to see them in their prime. I can't think of another group that truly gives as good a show now as when they were young.
