He was very average this year. If he does it again, his value will go the way of Chris Johnson.

Yeah, instead of 1600 yards he only amassed 1300. 3rd in the league in rushing

Alonso is a starting caliber LB but he's hardly a superstar like he is portrayed

Right?!

People expected some 2,000 yard year and now he "sucked" or went downhill because he amassed 1300? Averaging over 4 ypc

The Eagles ran the ball like crazy. Total yards says nothing. 18 running backs averaged more yards per carry than McCoy.

Ryan likes bruisers up the middle that follow their guards into the teeth of the defense. Not really ideal for a guy with all that open space ability

like chris johnson, chris ivory, woodhead, joe mcknight, ladanian tomlinson and bilal powell?

shonn greene maybe

sure, but he got labeled a "playmaker". He didnt make any plays the last 12 games of the year.

Not as much as you think. They had Sanchez chuckin' it 50 games a game pretty often. Chip likes to air it out.

that's a pretty random trade.

but props to the Bills for getting one of the best RB's in the league.

wonder who is going to start for PHI next year at RB. I don't see Sproles as a starter.

Chris Polk?

Maclin might go to another team too.

Bizzare.

So he's a back that has big play ability, can tote the rock 300+ times per season, gives you 4+ yards per carry in a down year, and gives you 1300+ yards every season.

Very average back we're talking about.

He's good, but no running back is worth killing your cap space. People are acting like they traded a prime Peterson.

I see the Eagles drafting a RB and keeping Maclin.

Maybe if chip gave McCoy a goal line carry every now and then, they could have gotten more value.

They traded a prime top 5 RB.

And the Eagles have a lot of cap room.
