Every time Christian Laettner gets mentioned around a UK fan, we end up having to talk about Christian Laettner for about 30 more minutes than desired. I think UK fans have a secret crush on Christian Laettner, or else they would let it go.

So does everyone agree that Laettner was the greatest postseason performer in NCAA basketball history? Who else would be in the conversation? I'm not sure about Alcindor or Walton's tourney numbers, I know Isaiah Thomas was spectacular but I think he only played one year.

In the three point era, easily. It's hard to compare him to Alcindor and Walton given the different rules back then.
