coppola's is good IMO

reeves and ryder are completely dull and lifeless, and the original romantic link isn't really well conveyed beyond the opening scene.

I don't really have suggestions of what could have been done better, but the movie is good (not great by any means) and the casting outside of the dumb dumbs was very good.

water world.

came here to suggest this. The movie had so much promise. The entire cast was shite. The last 40 minutes of the film was shite.

Also, pretty much all of the Tom Clancy movies, with exception of The Hunt for Red October could be remade with significant improvements.

I'd like to see a Spawn remake. Such a cool character and story that the first movie didn't do justice to.

Lady Gaga can be Nancy.

The rumors are that Tom Hardy will be John Kelly in Without Remorse.

I would love to a live-action version or Pixar version of Spirited Away. Really any version of it that's not anime. I love the movie, but I have just never gotten into that type of animation.

That would ruin the movie really. There are like 3 characters who have a truly human appearance. The others are greatly changed versions of humans and other animals/vegetation/things, and it wouldn't have the same magic to it if it were live action. It would just be weird. And 3D would ruin it too, because there's something that you can appreciate knowing that it is all hand drawn and wasn't just put into a computer to do it. It's why (while still great) I think Frozen was a missed opportunity and should have been classically animated.

And if I had to go with a remake, I'd go with the Last Airbender. Make the movie 3 hours long, cast it authentically, actually use the dialog and characters from the series, and then film all 3 movies simultaneously like they did "The Lord of the Rings". It's not as if they could make it any worse than how Shyamalan put it on the big screen.

I would love to see a Terminator 3 and Terminator 4 done right. The "reboot" looks god awful.

They should have never made those movies. T2 made it pretty clear they averted Judgement Day.

Not really

T2 leaves us with one mother of a paradox

Exactly. The only true ending to the Terminator story is the end of the future war.

The war has to happen, you cannot change the future

If you prevent the war then the machine that helped you do that will never exist

If you think about it, the whole series is kind of pointless

They didn't even and try a little to patch that hole

They kinda did in T3. "Judgement Day is inevitable."

T3 actually had potential. Poor casting choices ruined any hope for it. Among other things.
