Still torn on whether or not I want the Raiders to grab him. The thought of him and Mack together for many years is unbelievable, but at the cost with other areas to put that money into good players...idk.

What detroit has done is no big deal nor a sign of incompetence

Notice how no one decided to explain how it was handled poorly.

I would say they did handle it poorly, they kicked every can down the road, when they were never in a position to win a championship. They had to cut Bush, Suh is going to walk, and they will likely cut Calvin Johnson next year.

That's a stretch and much easier to say in hindsight. They have been in the playoffs twice and, I mean, they are moving in the direction toward contention, not the other way around.

This isn't some big loss.

He is more likely to re-sign than not.

No one knows what is going to happen with Megatron at this point...at some point he will start to age, then that option might be on the table.

NFL compensation system is so screwed up. All the way down to the non-guaranteed contracts.

The NFL salary structure is tremendous for fans and the game in general.

Next year(2016 season) his cap hit jumps to $24 million. That's a 31 year old WR, who will account for over 1/6 of your salary cap.
