I'm happy with the options too Cub. But I strongly believe that Chi at first shouldn't be one of them.

ETA: my downvote stalkers are all over this thread Cub, if it's you I'm going to cry.

I just don't know why he even started Zardon in the first place. Not because I don't think he deserved it, but what did he need to do to keep his job that he didnt do?

He needed to give Mainieri confidence in both games and in practice that he could be a good (much better than average) defensive player. Everyone knows that Mainieri wants the left side of his infield to be very strong. We've seen that over the years.

OBP is more significant than total hits. But if you throw in RBI, multibase then you have something. And I understand Chi and KRob are completely different players. One is supposed to drive in runs. The other is to get on base. Really we are comparing Chi, Fraley, and Foster and I was pointing out something to support Josh's thoughts on Chi

should use OPS instead.

i dont see these comments about Zardon as throwing him under the bus. But in the past PM has said more controversial things about players, imo. I can't recall exactly, but i remembered by kind of shocked.

this is just an attempt to light a fire under his guy. Im not sure we can take his bat out the lineup anyway.

And that's not the plan. He's moving him to first.

CLM is too nice and never tells enough and CPM is too mean and says too much. Yep... LSU fans are something else.
I personally like both styles. Every coach has his own way to motivate his players. Skip was mean as hell to his players. He would tell them how much they sucked all the time.

He's talking to the media. You can get your point across by either talking to a player individually or by calling him out in front of the team. Doing it to the media is a bad idea IMO

You do realize not everyone in this thread falls into your categorization, right? There is an entire state of fans.
