I think my left leg is a little longer than the right one.

Usually, I save the shoe that isnt as worn out when i retire that pair. Then when the same things happen to my next pair, i run in the lesser worn shoes for a bit

I honestly think this messed up one time. Now I mix it up. The slight slope I think caused a little damage over time

I don't think one wears out more than the other but I do notice certain areas of my shoe wears out a lot more than others.

Could be. I'm considered a hard heel striker - I weigh 180 - been running since 1977 - average roughly 60 miles a week - I use to use hot glue to apply to my right shoe's heel - for the last 15 years only buy stability rated shoes - buy shoes in triplet now - three pair will last 6 months. Roadrunnersports has a shoe expert on staff that my be able to help/advise you.

I'll go you one better - when I still ran, I noticed different parts of different shoes wore out faster.
