No need to be upset... The shaq game against Loyola was a run and gun type game...

Man, you guys are hypnotized by the 2 words "triple double".

It's like hitting for "the Cycle" in baseball. Why is "the Cycle" better than a home run, a triple, and two doubles? Or 2 homers, a double, and a strikeout?

What if TQ had hit a layup instead of getting that last assist? He'd still be accountable for the same amount of output.

Regardless of how you slice it, TQ had a fantastic game, but I agree, the "triple double" is a contrived stat.

I agree, but I was still cheering like hell for him to get that last assist.

Holy shite. I am assuming these numbers are accurate, that is insane. Has anyone ever had better?

My numbers are dead on with CJ

His time at LSU was just unbelievable. He is the best pure scorer I've ever seen wear the purple and gold. I know the older posters that saw Pete will say "it's Pete" and not even close. Still, the Chris Jackson era was a special time at LSU. His free throw shooting was about 93-95% I believe?

LSU's Mount Rushmore of all-time players; Maravich, Pettit, Macklin and Oneal

There is no way you can have a LSU Basketball Mt Rushmore and not have Chris Jackson.

Any game Pistol Pete Maravich played in - particularly at home in the Cow Palace. The best pure basketball player EVER IMHO. Geaux Tigers!

Maravich - Petite- Jackson - O'Neal

I can't put Macklin in front of CJ in good conscious

Jackson probably wouldn't want an image made of him. It wouldn't be kosher.
