Was wondering when this might happen. Article makes it seem that NB is being a whiny bitch, albeit the article was written by the Houston Chronicle. Either way #TeamOasis

I've never had the Oasis version, only NB.

And I'd reply with a GIF, but I'm ignorant to posting those things on message boards. ULL education and all.

Good. This came up the other day. ft mentioned Slow Ride and I said it was TX beer. Wise "corrected" me. I dropped it because I wondered if I was drunk.

But frick New Belgium.

ETA Especially because the Oasis Slow Ride is an awesome beer. frick New Belgium. They'll win because $$$$$$$$

^^ these are two for profit companies having a dispute, why does anyone here have a side? This isn't aunt jenny trying to be shut down by Duncan Hines while trying to sell cookies at the church bake sale. We had the same thing going up here with trinity and crooked stave and people with no skin in the game acted butt hurt about it. These are businesses doing what businesses do, and Matizyeezy's story shows why they are doing it.

I don't care who wins, if the product is good and changes names it will still sale. With that said, I am guessing NB has deeper pockets and will win.

NBD is more Boulevard Hibiscus Gose

This show better get good because I interrupted happiness for this >[

I don't care that two beers have the same name, but whatever. Not surprised they're fighting over it though.

Of course NB will win. I just have skin because I know one is superior to the other. And the deal is, you change a brand/label, you have risk. Lose consumers. It's "brewed the hard way" Bud Light shite vs. craft shite on a microscopic level. I want to see small breweries like Oasis do well, particularly if they produce good beer. I don't want micro/macro breweries like NB making it hard for people trying to get started.

ETA I'm also semi-sure Oasis had the name first. But NB has the pockets. What will you do?
