Sounds boring. The history and buildings are interesting and worth hearing about but the food is just good. Nothing to rave about.

It's tired to you guys down there, but 99% of the country have never even heard of those places.

Eh. People who watch his show are food people. I don't want to watch him go to tired places in NYC, so I'm sure others don't want to watch that in New Orleans either.

I think Cafe du Monde is one of the most famous places in all of New Orleans. I've seen it on no less than 5 TV shows over the years.

Nothing will ever beat that alcohol show that went to Snake and Jakes and Cure's owner's place and etc.

Interesting. I assume they mean famous to everyone and not just locally famous? Because there are definitely plenty of restaurants that New Orleans locals all know and love that the rest of the country doesn't know of.

Will watch. Would rather see Bourdain at a boucharie. Would rather see me at a boucharie.

Old lady said it takes a long time to make a roux, but the chef just made it in like 15 minutes.

Don't know about that, but the okra and bay leaves he used made my day. Fine advertisement for the city s for as I'm concerned.

Considering the touristy make up of the places, I thought it was very well done.

Loved when the lady giving the history of po-boys called it just that when discussing Martin's. No poor boy, just po-boy. Take that Fitzmorris.
