Visa cards will now be accepted at Costco after AMEX deal ends next year

Deal with Costco and AMEX ends next year. If you don't already know....Costco only accepts cash or debit...unless you have an AMEX card. New deal is with VISA, so now all VISA will be accepted there.
Admins...feel free to move to money board if more appropriate there

No. I figured if I got one at Costco I would only get in serious trouble with it there. So didn't want the temptation. I kinda liked that I could only use cash or debit card there...kept my spending there in check. Well..should have bought more Visa last year when it was low due to some lawsuit it lost.

Yeah I don't know why AMEX wouldn't have held on to that partnership as long as they could. How many people got an AMEX just because it was the only credit card they could use at Costco? If you were planning on buying a lot of big purchases there you got a bunch of extra perks using a Costco AMEX card.
