iPad Air vs. Galaxy S Tab

I've had my iPad 4 since the release date. Unfortunately my lightening charger broke off in the charger port. I tried the super glue trick with no luck. So I guess it's time to get a new one. I am already familiar with the Samsung software, as I own the Galaxy s5 (which I like). Between the two tabs, which one would you all recommend?

This would be the worst reason I could think of to replace an ipad

Literally just take it to the Apple Store and they'll probably just fix it for you.

Yep 220$ to fix. It's almost 4 years old at this point.

Shop around. You will find someone for much less than that.

Well I also kinda fricked it up more by trying the super glue trick to get it out. So I think I ruined the damn thing now
