If you are at the launch between 7:30 and 8 I will show you that spot. I'm in a white F150 platinum with a black aluminum ranger. Hopefully there won't be a shite ton of boats in there tomorrow

How deep under the noodle?

Usually 2 to 4 ft. We also drop weighted lines with a floater in the deep holes 30' to 40' deep with 3 or 4 hooks. True turn hooks to prevent roll offs!!!!

Just got off the phone. Not good news. Report as of today is that it got real muddy. Trip is cancelled now.

I appreciate the offer though buddy. We were going to take my dads boat. But I guess we will do some maintenance to mine as its over do. Might take it out for a little run on the diversion near my house.

I was afraid of that. Water's come up a little over a foot since Friday. I'm still gonna head out there since the wife wants to go and she hasn't been able to go in a while. Might have to spend the day hunting clean water but that one place has held them good for over a month now, I'm betting they will still be there

Well that sucked. Caught one catfish all day. Water is high and muddy as he'll everywhere around cross bayou/Murphy lake. Got caught in the rain also.

Sorry bro. I figured as much. we got a report yesterday from a very good fisherman which led to the cancellation on our part.

At least I was able to fix a couple things on my boat that I had been putting off doing.

I also learned that newer trucks have relays in the fuse box for trailer signal lights. As if trailer lights weren't already enough of a pain in the arse to troubleshoot.
