Could I walk on to the football team? Would I be eligible? I have many qualifications. I was my Church's flag football league MVP last year and I played quarter back. I'm 6'5 235. Although I have screws and rods in my back from spinal fusion surgery, I think I could hang. I ran a 4.8 in my prime. I'm 24 years old. My names Matt. Could I be the next great quarterback named Matt at LSU? I think yes. Am I eligible though? How can I try out? Maybe ESPN could do a 30 for 30 on me breh

Well if you decide to not play, I need a QB for my flag football team.

This.

I think he is ineligible to play in the NCAA in any of its divisions. HOWEVER, the NAIA does not count NCAA years, so he could still play in the NAIA (unless they just recently changed that rule).

No, you lose eligibility 5 years after you enroll or after you've played four years or after you get caught signing pictures for money. Whichever happens first.

It's how you end up with graduate students on the team. Enroll, red shirt, graduate in 4 years having only played 3 because of the redshirt, play your fourth year of eligibility in the fifth year after you enrolled in college, but do it as a grad student.

You don't see it often at big schools because football players rarely graduate, much less do it in four years while still playing football.

Screws and rods in back

No chance of being allowed on the team even if your slow arse could keep up for the first ten minutes of suicides
