Water had a slight stain. Only clear water was in Housen. We caught them fishing grass with small watermelon red and green pumpkin speed craws. 36 keepers. My buddy and 2 friends last Friday caught 41 keeprs i think he said but I had to come home. We caught all that the day it rained so hard. My biggest was 7.8, my buddy had a 8.2.

Look at last post.
That afternoon we caught 20 bass in a matter of 15 minutes .
It was every cast. You stay there a week you have a good chance of hitting a honey hole at the right time .
I've never thrown back so many bass in a day.

I fished the southern end last week/weekend between Negreet and Pirates, lots of good water to be found, only muddy I found was the extreme back end of a handful of coves

I caught 15 or so today but it was tough going. I found these stacked up in one of my crank bait holes. I didn't see another boat catch a fish. I was shocked. Going to my tourney hole in the morning to check and see if they are there.

We caught 2 all day. Slow. However we don't have any holes. Only 7th time here. The two today were good size. Just no numbers.
