I want to say thank you all for the support on here after the loss of my pawpaw last Sunday. We had his funeral in McComb ms and he wanted all the family to have lsu tie or something purple gold colors to his funeral and I know he was looking down and happy because he loved lsu so much. What really broke me down was at the end of the service he wrote that when it was over to play the baaaaa ba ba ba song( fight song). So when they played it I broke down because I loved him so much and every football game I would have seen with him will not be the same anymore. now when I hear that every football game I'm always going to remember him and have that connection with him. I just want y'all to know lsu was his pride and joy and heaven has another lsu fan walking through the pearly gates. He was a great man who loved family, friends, and lsu and represented himself in a professional manner. Thanks for all the love on here and I know he is thankful as well!

Pretty sure I'd give up my left nut or some such for one more weekend at the camp w/my paw paw. I mean shite, I'm bout 50, one nuts fine, and my God I still think about/miss him, even though he's been gone almost 30 years ago. Y'all can see my name is Trey. I'm the third. He was Sr.

Sorry for you loss man. Pawpaw's are the pawpaw. Be so thankful you had one that loved you, and you him. Be thankful for the time as well. Everyone doesn't get that.

Look, he could have been a State or UM fan, at least he made that correct life decision.

Y'all leave him alone, the percentage of Bama fans who never matriculated in Tuscaloosa is much higher than the LSU correlate.

Your Paw Paw sounded like a wonderful person. Follow his example and love the Lord and your family and you will be with him forever. At least he left you with fond memories. Few are lucky enough to have that from a grandfather.
