Well one GOOD thing about taking it daily is you have a tolerance and are WWWAAYYYYY less likely to OD. Its the people that use it recreationally and mix it that typically die. As long as you don't go crazy and take more than usual and drink a shitload you are most likely good.....

Surprised the frick out of me as well
I mean I've taken probably about 10mg of Xanax and mixed shite with it and woke up places I had no clue how I got there. Or I fricking stole Reese cups from a gas station with a pocket full of cash once. Less than a dn dollar candy, just asking to get in trouble while fricking blitzed on alcohol and Xanax.
I've alao drank what I normally drank and took what I normally took opiates and followed it with 1mg of Xanax and have literally fell directly on my face and didn't wake up.
It's a super scary drug

quit all of the Rx's for anxiety and sleeping.
all natural, non-addictive. if you've never taken anything at all start with 1 mg. 5mg if you're a regular xanax user.
works just as well for anxiety during the day.
i e.... fears/flying and so forth. won't kill you if you have a few drinks.
ETA: Lorazepam (ativan) for extreme anxiety when needed for extreme conditions.
