I found an old box of CB caps in my closet the other day from Jim's Firearms. $5.50 for 100 rounds. That and a brick of Remington .22 Thunderbolts. I feel so fricking old!

I have received several emails from slickguns over the past couple of days listing affordable .22 in quantities that would appear to be enough to cover your shooting needs for years. Are you receiving those emails? There are sources of .22 other than your local Wal Mart.

Why does everyone get so bent out of shape when someone says clips instead of magazines? We all know what they are talking about..I don't get it.

no, i understand that chicken littles 2Aers have created a giant swirling vortex of moronic hoarding, which is interfering with my ability to acquire casual amounts of .22lr bullets. Typically i do not shoot more than 50-100 rounds per year. I just find myself without at the moment, but am not concerned about the zombiepocalypse. I do have a few boxes of subsonic, and 150 or so .22mag, and .17 HMRs if i need to small game hunt, etc. just can't play around with my Buckmark or 10/22.

Truly, my heart bleeds for you.

Maybe next time you'll develop a sense of awareness of what's going on. But I doubt it.

Cause they're so cool and edgy. You gotta use the cool terminology so everyone knows you're legit.

It wasn't all that long ago that a 550 round bulk pack of Winchester .22 was $8.88 at Wally.

Powder for reloading was $12-$15 per pound, primers were $15 per K, 5.56 projectiles were $20.00 per 500.

This is no more than 10 years ago. Now all of that stuff is at least twice the price. In the case of projectiles it's increased by about 4-fold.

The reason is because politicians keep looking for ways to restrict peoples' freedom, even when overall crime rates are going down.

It isn't any wonder to me why people feel they need to stockpile ammo and guns.

I can't figure out why anybody would "stockpile" any of this stuff.

If it gets banned, you won't use it because you won't want to not have it. If it doesn't get banned, the foil hat types frick up the market.

I'm gonna start investing in pmags though for the next time we start seeing high capacity magazine ban talks come up. From what I saw last time a guy with a pallet of them could make a very nice profit.
