I've lived in this city for most of my life. We won't win the title. We're use to coming so close and failing so why will this year be any different....

As the saying in Cleveland goes, maybe next year!

They will make the Finals. One regular season game on their home floor is no indication of how a series with Golden State will go. Warriors will have HCA.

Let's wait till they play Memphis. I like the Grizzlies to come out of the West.

eta - Heck, lets wait till they play the Hawks for cryin out loud.

I guess I can understand your perpetual disappointment with you being so close to everything. Kinda how I was with the Saints before 2006.

But this is the best team the Cavs have ever had. No hyperbole there. Not saying they're a lock to win it but this team post-trades will at least have a shot.

I wouldn't bet on that. They only have 4 games on Memphis.

Sounds like Hawks-Cavs would be the perfect storm.

WoW I sure hope not. Would be easily the least impressive (read: worst) team to win an NBA championship in my lifetime.

ONLY? Memphis's remaining schedule is much tougher, MEM has almost no chance to jump them.

Meh Grizz play more b2b's, but the Warriors play like 5 more plus .500 teams.

I'd rather the Grizz fall to 3 to avoid OKC or SA tbh

handful of plebs (RTR, etc) doubt Lebron every year at this time, and then undoubtedly, they will squirrel their little heads into the sand like dumbasses come playoff time.

Umm I was 100% right about last year's Miami team. I had issues all season that were easy to see, but to you and your fellow LeBron fan boys it was always "wait until the playoffs." Well they lost in the finals by a near historic margin.

This Cavs team had a ton of flaws and I had every reason to be doubtful of their chances at the time. Obviously their front office was too. They made a bunch of moves that I was skeptical of and now they look like one of the favorites like I've already mentioned the last few weeks.

Cleveland has never won much of anything. Why would that change?

Have the Atlanta hawks, Memphis Grizzlies, or golden state warriors ever won anything?

The top 2 seeds in both conferences are going to be pretty new to winning (golden state last championship was 40 years ago and atlantas was almost 60 years ago)

It doesn't matter because you (not YOU specifically but the general you) are fricking retarded if you actually believe that line of thinking. Yeah the last 5 or so years matter because the people in the organization are the same, but beyond that, it doesn't matter at all.

I'm sure paul millsap or steph curry or Lebron are going to be mentally fricked in the playoffs because their franchise doesn't have championships in the 80s
