I agree. I think NASCAR used that as a reason to move the race to Atlanta to help with attendance and it backfired.
Darlington is one of the very few tracks that has been selling out for their events, and it made a lot of South Carolinians angry for moving the race from that weekend. Luckily it's back and I can't wait. Hopefully I'll be able to take that weekend off this year to go.

No offense, I've been to Darlington 3 times, but a sellout there used to be like 60k. They lost their races because attendance sucked. Maybe it's come back and I don't know how it compares to Atlanta but they had a good reason to lose their races.
