It always seems to be one thing or another that pops up that LSU has to deal with.

This is crybaby BS! Bama has had to put up with a lot more from the SEC/NCAA than we have.

If LSU starts winning again, everything will be right with the world.

In August 1995, the NCAA Infractions Committee found four rules violations by the Alabama football program. Alabama cornerback Antonio Langham signed with a sports agent and applied to enter the NFL draft in January 1993, and allegedly received deferred-payment loans. Alabama's football program was placed on probation with scholarship limitations, and a one year post-season ban (1995). Eight wins and one tie from the 9–3–1 1993 season were forfeited.[154]

In February 2002, Alabama was sanctioned for providing impermissible benefits. The NCAA report states that a recruiter gave a prospective student $20,000 in cash, lodging and entertainment. During the 2000 season, an assistant football coach in Memphis, Tennessee claimed an Alabama booster paid him US$50,000 to encourage one of his players to sign with Alabama.[155][156] A secret witness that helped convict the University of Alabama was later revealed to be Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer.[157][158] The report included allegations of paying a high school coach to influence a prospect, violations of rules for honesty and cooperation, expense-paid visits to the campus, and cash payments to other football players. Although the NCAA stated that the University fully cooperated with the enforcement staff, Alabama received probation from 2002 to 2006, a post-season ban in 2002 and 2003, and loss of 21 scholarships over 3 years.[159]

In June 2009, Alabama was sanctioned for textbook and supplies-related infractions, valued at approximately $40,000, involving 201 student-athletes in 16 sports. The football program was forced to vacate 21 wins from the 2005–2007, pay a $43,900 fine, and received a public reprimand and censure. The football program was placed on three years probation, which ended in June 2012.[160][161][162] The university stated "none of the textbooks or materials was used for profit or to get items not related to academics, and that the athletes involved who still have eligibility remaining have had to pay restitution."[163] Alabama's appeal of the ruling was unsuccessful

I actually agree! Join another conference and see Bama on a neutral field without all the Bama referees. Just say'n! Tired of it!

Didn't we beat them six years in a row recently? Seems like the tables were turned then. I don't agree with everything that happens in the SEC but also don't think there is a big conspiracy against LSU.

It's not really about Saban or the officiating or the SEC. It's that historically Alabama has been better than LSU. It's only that recently social media has created a sky is falling mentality and that if your team has a lack of success it must be a conspiracy. You can't see the forest for the trees.

Historically

Alabama LSU Tigers Total meetings 78
Series record Alabama leads, 49–25–5
Largest win Alabama, 47–3 (1922)
Longest win streak Alabama, 11 (1971–1981)
Current win streak Alabama, 4 (2012–present)

The longest win streak LSU has had. 2003-2007. Of course people will say "but that was Saban coaching and Les coaching with Sabans players!"

Maybe alabama has just been better. And I'm an LSU alum and a long time fan.

The SEC actually appealed this rule when it was inacted because they foresaw issues like this possibly happening to Bama

I am not saying LSU should leave the SEC but some of you who think LSU would be harmed are kidding yourselves. If LSU joined the BIG12 the BIG12 would generate much more money and the SEC would lose money from its' TV contract. LSU is a major player nationally and it would do a lot of damage if one of the SEC heavyweights bolted.

LSU could also dictate to the BIG12 that they would join until a 12th team would be added so the BIG12 could have a playoff game.

Agreed. You have to use this as leverage when dealing with the sec office in Birmingham. I am not saying leave the conference, but quit letting them run over us. Mainly talking about Alleva

I don't care about Bama so I don't follow Bama. However, I do know that Bama has been caught with their hand in the "cookie jar" as far as cheating goes.
The issues that I'm talking about are how the bridge schedules were determined, how some of the games are called year after year, T. Valentine not getting cleared to play at ALL last season and stuff along those lines.

Now you can call me a crybaby all you want for what I've posted, but after reading your post defending the gumps, I could easily call you a bama fan.

Hell we are not even appealing the sanctions. I don't think we did all we could to fight for Valentine's eligibility last season. They're other schools in this conference that also want the SEC championship game moved occasionally so its not in Atlanta every year. Why aren't we voicing our opinion on that? move aside little guy and let the big boys talk because clearly you don't know what you're talking about.
