Atom spinoff is official (arrow spoiler in write up )

Surprised to read about Lotz being in it. I mean, she dead

First off like everyone has already said, Caity Lotz? 
I guess Lazarus pits?
And how are they going to include Dr. Stein since he is 1/2 of Firestorm? Is Ronnie also going to be in it?
And this might be the most interesting statement in that article:
Who could the three major characters be? Of Course it can't be Superman, Batman, or Wonderwoman since they've all been part of past tv series. Green Lantern is the first that pops in my head. But who else?

I'm surprised no one else commented on this. I still can't think of 3 major DC characters that haven't ever been on a tv series, that could be in this new series outside of GL.

I'm thinking there are possibilities here>
1. Lazarus pits
2. This show will be set in the past.
3. Lotz plays a different character.
I'm hoping for option #1. We know that Nyssa knows about the pits, and where they are at. And she loves Sara, so I could see her taking her to the pits.
Option #3 would suck. I hope that isn't even a thought on their part.
Option #2 could work, but I'm hoping for a current storyline. Ray wouldn't have his suit, and Stein wouldn't be Firestorm. So they really wouldn't be superheros yet.

Yea I was just assuming option 1 or 3 but option 2 could work. But even then, there really wouldn't be much of a superhero show if he isn't being a superhero

I'm not sure about Firestorm because they only name Stein and not Ronnie, but I'm assuming Firestorm will be in it. Also apparently 3 other major DC characters.
