Had a SW IPA at the Box for 2BD. Jeez, it was cold out there. Back home and some bourbon seemed proper.

Hmmm, it is a good beer. I think your krewe has had it so they will be the judge. I thought the hoppy amber was a good beer for what it was. It will not blow you away with water profiles and hop balance, but it is a solid beer. I would choose it over their session IPA.

Good stout, taste like a hot barrel aged stout. Might be a bit unfair comparing it to the Old Raspy that I had just before. By the nose it would seem to be a lot thinner than it is. Not sure I hold this above PGP, but it is a good beer.
