Apple on Thursday sent out invites for a special event to be held on March 9, 2015. The event will be held in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, a venue that Apple has used many times before for special events.
It is widely expected that Apple will use the event to give more details about the Apple Watch, which was introduced last September.
There are still many details about the Apple Watch that we don’t know, including pricing of the various configurations that we could find out in March.
It will be live streamed on Apple's website at apple.com/live, iOS devices, and a dedicated channel on the Apple TV.
*Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.
I for one can't wait to order a dozen diamond encrusted Apple Watches to hand out as gifts

If they have figured out the battery problem, I will be very intrigued by one of the cheaper models.

They haven't
ETA: Cook said in an interview out today he gets all day use out of it and his days are from 3:30 AM to 9:30-10 PM. I wouldn't call that "solving the battery problem" as, IMO, solving it would mean that it could run for a month minimum without a charge. But to get ~18 hours out of it I'll say
As I was thinking getting 12+ hours was going to be a real struggle.

I figured. But I am interested to see them address that issue at least.

You jealous that Android and Google product launches don't have the same hype or elicit the same reaction from the masses? Sure sounds like it.

Seems like apple's proven its way more than the media who gobble their shite up.
