Although Bracket Matrix is probably a better, more comprehesnive view of the field that SOS uses, Lunardi updated his projections this morning ( ESPN Bracketology)and has LSU as a 10 seed and "comfortably" in since they are no longer on the "Last Four Byes" list.

All sources are good sources. I use both for sure. Joe does a pretty darn good job. He talks to a lot of people.

LSU is in a good spot right now, win Saturday and I feel confident. Still have to finish out strong.

I think we are in if we go to 2-1 over the next three, with one of the 2 being a win over Tennessee. We can't afford another bad loss. Of course, a win or two in the SEC tourney wouldn't hurt either, but I'd feel better about it. This Ole Miss game is huge, because beating Arky on the road is going to be a monumental task.

I just hope we don't play ourselves into an 8/9 seed. I guess that's better than missing the dance... But I don't mind sweating out selection Sunday if it means a 10/11 and we avoid a #1 in the 2nd round.

we can beat duke if we play a great game...virginia would crush us with our sub par guard play imo

Honestly this team could beat or lose to anyone in the country. But I agree give me a team that runs and I like our chances. I assume UVA grinds it out in the half court?

and they play incredible defense..their guards would give our ball handlers trouble.

however, if we can dictate the pace against them then we can flip the game in our favor. i just don't have confidence in doing that..

Id take the better seed. Id rather play the 8/9 in the first round than the 6/7.

Duke is prime for a short tourney run. They lack depth and if they can't hit their outside shots they can lose to anyone. They are basically rotating 6 guys right now.

LSU has already shown they can play kentucky down to the wire. We have played them great the past few years.

Gonzaga is gonzaga. Sorry, they don't scare me as a 1 seed.

Virginia is the scariest team for LSU to matchup with. If we were an 8/9 matched up with them, Id be happy with a 1 and done Cuz we wouldn't have a chance.

I'd like to stay off the 8-9 line.

if you want to count Allen and plumlee, two guys who got 7 and 6 minutes last night in an overtime win where one of their main 6 fouled out near the end, go for it. But then don't tell me they play more guys than LSU if that's how we are counting.

That kentucky game impresses me most because I thought kentucky played one of their better games of the year and we still only lost by 2.

This

It wasn't as if we played out of our minds and they struggled. That was one of, if not their best, game all year.

Let's not get too carried away. It was one of UK's better performances (especially in conference), but that is a team that beat Kansas by 30 (and it really wasn't that close).
