I still stick by my philosophy, and this is exactly why.

Don't EVER trust a cop. They are not there to help you, no matter what

Could you be a bigger idiot? I don't know how much you paid for your so called education but you should see about getting your money back, it didn't take.

They are NEVER your friend. They might be cool out of uniform, but don't ever get lulled into thinking "Oh, that cop was nice."

I have to call BS on this story. None of the people involved are on the Bogalusa PD Most Wanted Fugitives page.

Wow. They all should go to jail!
Curious though why they went after him only for serving them.
I guess just as a way to get to the nephew that was suing.

That is pretty bad!

Julie Knight the Asst DA needs to be disbarred but sadly the LA Bar's is more inept than Walter Reed.

Scruffy has never even seen cocaine. He was never interested in trying it.

Did enough pot in college to sink a battleship though.

He also knows a bunch of people who have done it at least once.

Apparently you have me mixed up with someone else. I don't like cops at all. I never have. I served 11 months in jail on a charge made up between a cop and a DA. Not only did I not do what they said it never actually happened. So maybe you should go frick with someone else. You retarded frick

Hopefully Plattsmeier gets those two lawyers. That is just unconscionable.

Serve time?
frick that.

Every one of those fricks needs to spend the exact same time in jail that he would have had to. I'd say 80 years is a great start.

THAT is what I'm wondering.

Maybe, after being served they found out that Dendinger was related to the plaintiff who was bringing the underlying brutality claim.

They might have figured that they could use the threat of putting away Dendinger for 80 years as leverage to get the nephew to drop the brutality charges???

I just can't believe that Julie Knight still has her legal license MUCH LESS is still employed as an Assistant D.A.

That's is the very definition of unethical, illegal and prosecutorial overreach. If Eric Holder and Lynch had any sense, the DOJ would come down hard on this fiasco. This is 100 times more outrageous than ferguson which was iffy at best.

Somewhere, they're both shaking their heads and going like if only dendinger was black in this gold mine of a case.

The Louisiana Supreme Court has jurisdiction over the state bar, no? Why haven't they got involved yet? This was intentional malicious prosecution after they knowingly and intentionally filed false police reports which was perjury btw and that's a felony.

I've got to imagine that defense lawyers are shaking the dust off their old files wherever Julie Knight was a prosecutor and she used the sworn statements of cops to make her case.

It is a Committee of the Supreme Court that brings disciplinary actions. But, it's been two years - and I believe one year since the Attorney General's office dropped the case. I think every attorney involved in the case had an ethical duty to report this to the state bar. This woman's bar license should have been suspended IMMEDIATELY pending an investigation. She not only wasn't suspended by the Bar, but also she's still an Assistant D.A. in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes. UNFREAKINGBELIEVEABLE!
