I love the show, but this season has had some terrible episodes.

I've caught a couple episodes this season, and I think all of the kids growing up to be terrible actors who are unlikable on screen has really hurt the show.

I thought it was hilarious. I LMAO.

Not just Apple, must have had 4 different products in there. Just awful

I'm pretty sure that episode just locked up Emmy #6. Great episode. Very creative.

They jumped the shark a couple years ago.

The phrase "jumped the shark" is so stupid and overused these days.
Just watched the episode, and it was pretty fantastic. Modern Family sometimes tries a little too hard to get cute with "clever, perfectly-timed" jokes, but they hit on way more than they miss. Even still after this many seasons.
This was one of the most creative sitcom episodes in a long time IMO. Not sure how you could hate it if you're a fan of the show (outside of Lilly having too many lines).

If Community had done this, the Community apologists would still be talking about it. Which is ironic because a Community writer wrote this episode. Let's call a spade a spade Modern Family is still king.

I thought it was great. Especially watching all the stuff going on in the background(s).

Modern Family has not fallen off one bit this season, which is amazing 6 seasons in. The Apple infomercial episode was fantastic, and I was really against it when I read about the concept ahead of time.

Agreed, Luke has become really terrible.

luke is awful
I could give Haylie a cream pie any day of the week
Alex turns 18 next year so I will hold my thoughts on her until that day

That was the best episode the show has ever had. You must be a windows user.

If you can look past the obvious product placements, it was actually a creative and well executed episode. I don't know if any show has done a full episode like that. I enjoyed it, but initially thought it would suck after realizing what they were going to do for the whole episode.
