I think you can start voting on classic tomorrow, but leave voting open on Pixar Era for another day. A little overlap won't hurt.

I'd like to place a sentimental vote for Black Cauldron to make the bracket. Really, the only anime movies you need in there is Spirited Away, which will be a strong seed (hopefully).

Just a list of live-actions to consider:

Swiss Family Robinson
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
Mary Poppins
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Old Yeller
The Parent Trap
That Darned Cat!
The Love Bug
Apple Dumpling Gang
Flight of the Navigator
Honey! I Shrunk the Kids
The Rocketeer
The Mighty Ducks
Cool Runnings
Freaky Friday
Remember the Titans
Miracle
Pirates of the Carribean
The Princess Diaries

Sorta Live Action:
The Muppets
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Enchanted
Pete's Dragon

Just tying to help. I'd go heavy on the live action instead of putting in animated films that just weren't as good. The anime studio is its own deal, but there just weren't many 70s animated movies.

Still, your call. You are the owner of the bracket. You could do four subsections: Sports, Live Action, Live/Animated, and Animated. So the miscellany bracket would have a real bizarre final four.

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 should be excluded from the bracket because they were not owned by Disney at the time of their respective releases.

They worked closely enough with Disney at the time to count though. Nothing else would make sense

Studio Ghibli

Holy frick. No fair, man. No fair. I can't even begin to think about voting between Howl's Moving Castle and Toy Story 3 or Spirited Away and Lion King.

Plus, Ghibli isn't owned by Disney like Pixar. Disney only distributes Ghibli films.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems wrong having both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 as separate entries.

Snow White, Pinnochio, Dumbo, 101 Dalmations, Alice In Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Cinderella, Fantasia, and the like. In other words, what I immediately think of when I hear Disney.

If Robin Hood and The Jungle Book aren't included in one of these brackets, I may kill someone.

I could combine them I suppose, and add Atlantis.

It might make it as a 16 seed, or it may be a play-in against A Goofy Movie.
