Comments on Dupree from SECers that have seen his game?
Not sure if I saw this posted here or on reddit... but this is a solid tape about Bud and what he can work on. LINK
Personally, I'd love to see us take him at 13.

So now that the fog has cleared and our depth chart is starting to clear up after FA and trades I would like our first two to go one of two ways. After that just honestly go BPA with the following rounds.
Option A)
13. La'el
31. Strong
44. Dawson
Option B)
13. Dupree
31. Cann
44. Dawson

13. La'el

The more I read, the more I think this is our target in the 2nd round.....
Stephone Anthony / ILB / Clemson
6'3" / 243lbs
Analysis
Strengths:
Has desired build for position. Good play speed and is generally under control. Steady, consistent tackler when he's squared up. Has speed to chase to the sidelines and finish the play. Able to cover tight ends in passing game. Breaks to ball quickly against pass. Flashes ball skills and will play through pass-catchers. Features traits to be a more effective blitzer if called upon. Will compete through whistle and is physical against skill-position players. Lost job as junior and regained starting position with hard work and good attitude. Can cover ground laterally.
Weaknesses:
Below average take-on skills. Plays with poor leverage when taking on blocks. Needs to improve hand usage and utilize better arm extension to keep blockers off him. Has tendency to side-step blocks and open run lanes. Can be mismatched by running backs down the field in passing game. Sluggish dropping into zone coverage and will drift too deep. Slow to process and recover against play-action. There are times he gets downhill without diagnosing first, creating bad angles to the ball against outside runs.
Sources Tell Us:
"Between the two Clemson linebackers (Vic Beasley and Stephone Anthony), they really put on a show (at the combine). Beasley is going high." -- AFC defensive coordinator
NFL Comparison:
Zach Orr
Bottom Line:
Anthony has the athleticism to be an NFL linebacker, but he's not an explosive talent. He tries to get downhill and make plays, but more often it feels like he's guessing rather than instinctive. He'll take high-risk chances that will turn some coaches off. Anthony can make it in the league but he might be more of a depth-chart player than a long-time starter.
Sounds like another project to me, which I don't like.

I'd rather him over McKinney and Perryman TBH

Some other notables:
Cooper to da Raiders at #4 although some are saying it will be White. Then they have Parker and White going #11 and #12.
Scherff and then Collins at #9 and #10.
The Saints couldn't have used any of those last 4 at all so I'm glad they beat that amazing 2 win Bucs team by 3
Cooper or White would be so awesome to have now with the purging of Graham and Stills. DGB wouldn't be so bad but not sure Payton wants that in the locker room. I wouldn't be happy with Ray at #13 though.

Here's a quote from Payton.
LINK
It wasn't just the hit that was dumb but the way Ray left the field following his ejection.
I think you can scratch Shane Ray off any potential draft lists.

I do like the #31 pick they have for us:

Benardrick McKinney, LB

That wouldn't be a bad choice at all in the 31st spot.

It bothers me how many people are on the McKinney bandwagon for us.

That's a 3-minute highlight video! of course he's going to look good. I could go pull up a short highlight video of a 5th round pick and it's going to look good.
Go watch his full game tapes on draftbreakdown of noonkick. Not nearly as impressive. His instincts and coverage abilities would cause liabilities in the passing game IMHO. I think he's got a decent chance to be a solid starter in the league but I'd rather a few guys over him. The way a lot of people talk about him on this board you'd think he was the second coming.

you know it's true. But hey! At least we're on the same line of thought at LB at 31 or 44, we just have slightly differing opinions

This is why people shite on B/R. If that actually happened I think I'd cry.

Bunch of the guys they having going in the late teens/early 20s will be long gone
We wouldn't have signed browner if we were going cb early.
Sure in the hell aren't spending the 13th pick on a #3 corner.

/r/NFL_Draft just finished up a 4-round user mock. This is how it played out for us.
1.10 - Dante Fowler Jr., EDGE, University of Florida
1.31 - Eric Kendricks, LB, UCLA
2.12 - A.J. Cann, OG, South Carolina
3.14 - Quentin Rollins, CB, Miami (OH)
3.28 - Devin Funchess, WR/TE, Michigan
TRADES:
St. Louis 1.10, 4.20(via Philly) ----> New Orleans 1.13, 3.11
Detroit 3.28 ----> New Orleans 4.20, Stanley Jean-Baptiste
I'd be ecstatic with this draft. Plus we'd still have 4-5 picks left and two in the fifth for depth.

Round 1 Pick 13: Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State (B+) No value or need here, we need a guard or LB way worse.
Round 1 Pick 32 (N.E.): Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota (A-) No way in hell we draft a TE with this pick. Once again way worse needs and Sean loves Josh Hill.
Round 2 Pick 12: Shaq Thompson, OLB/ILB, Washington (A)This guy is going to be a safety in the NFL so this pick sucks also.
Round 2 Pick 32 (N.E.): Arie Kouandjio, OG, Alabama (B)Ok with this.
Round 3 Pick 11: Benardrick McKinney, ILB, Mississippi State (B+) No way in hell hes still there in the third round, he may even go at the end of the 1st
Round 3 Pick 15 (S.F.): Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami (Fla.) (A)Ok with this
Round 4 Pick 2 (N.E.): Grady Jarrett, DT, Clemson (B)Ok with this.
Round 4 Pick 27 (S.F.): Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor (A)Ok with this.
Round 5 Pick 12: Lorenzo Doss, CB, Tulane (C-)Ok with this.
Round 5 Pick 15 (S.F.): Austin Shepherd, OT, Alabama (B)Ok with this.
Round 5 Pick 18: Tyler Varga, FB, Yale (A-)No need when we have Lorig and Johnson
Round 6 Pick 11: Adrian Amos, FS, Penn State (B+)No need, we have like 3000 safeties.
Round 7 Pick 13: Josh Robinson, RB, Mississippi St. (C-)Dont see us using a pick on a RB.
In all I'm sorry but this mock is the most horrible thing Ive ever seen.
