it's funny I didn't realize that Disney owned ABC until I saw "Once Upon a Time" and wondered how the hell they got the rights to all those Disney characters for that one show..

off the top they include:

Snow White (and 7 littles)
Peter Pan/Hook
Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Wiz of Oz
Pinochio
Maleificent
101dogs/Cruela
Robin Hood
Mulan
Wonderland
Red Riding Hood

and

Rumplestiltskin

all in one show, and I've no doubt missed a few.

While Disney has rights to some of the characters like Mulan and Snow White, they don't have rights to all of them. I'm pretty sure they have no rights to Peter Pan/Hook or Beauty and the Beast (Guessing here)....

Holy shite, did you just use pictures of Disney movies as your argument? I bet you think Disney has the rights to the story Hercules because they made a movie about it.

Disney has no copyrights to Peter Pan.

And I'm pretty sure Beauty and the Beast is public domain as well and is not copyrighted.

if it's public domain then obviously they have the right to use them, but it is a fact they have the right of use of every character on that list, I figured one or two might be open, but if you mistakenly believed I was saying they had exclusive right of use to all, then I'm sorry for your mistake.

Better question is how did you not know Disney owned ABC? Heads up here, they also own ESPN, Lucasfilm, the Muppets, etc.

Alright guys.. I may just have to hand off this thread. I have been slammed with school and a bigger role in an organization recently, and I never have much time to sit and continue the tournament.
