So I signed up lil man for the city this year instead of the parish ABC league. Is this a competitive league or errrbody gets a trophy?

Learn me up, locals. Tia.

Not really. I understand what you mean, however he just wanted to play with his friends. He doesn't care about the stuff I asked

Parish ball has been an absolute joke, so city has to be better. We signed my little man up for city this year too even though Paula park is less than a mile from my house.

All indications I've been given tell me city ball is a much more well run organization.

See if you can keep count of how many league dads have groomed facial hair.

Back when I played it was city over parish by a lot. Now from what I understand both are suffering due to travel teams. I've been out of touch with that for a while though.

Ascension really does have a strong travel presence. They have some really good travel teams.

We've seen those teams at the World Series....im talking T-ball travel teams from West Texas.....those parents just get plain silly over their 5-6 year old tball teams....It's kinda sad

Parish Ball is very "everybody gets a trophy". City ball is a little more serious, but not crazy like travel ball. It's kinda the best of both worlds in my opinion.

They had some guy at the park scouting kids. I laughed aloud when they told me why.
