Headed to Vegas and was wondering if there were any amazing restaurants you would recommend. Anything specific from the menu that is a must order? Thanks for the help guys.

I doubt anyone considers these amazing, but Gordon Ramsey Burgr was a letdown. I've had better burgers in Baton Rouge...and my wife got food poisioning at the Planet Hollywood buffet.

The Steakhouse at Circus Cirus offers the best bang for your buck for a prime steak with sides. Won't cost an arm and a leg like others. Of course, you're going into a ahitty, old and smoke filled hotel, however the food more than makes up for it.
And steaks are cooked over lump charcoal. Ask for Michael Champeau for your waiter. Reservations are recommended.

100% truth. Steak and service was great. Circus Circus absolutely sucks but once you step in the restaurant, you are away from the trash.
My wife and I arrived an hour before reservations and gambled at the casino. They're so hard up for decent clientele there that the pit bosses will throw comps at you. Ended up getting most of the meal for free. As soon as we were done eating we hauled ads out of there.

I don't go to Vegas without eating at Bartolotta in the Wynn
As for menu items I always order a whole fish, you can pick which one based on your own preference.

If you're into Asian get the f off the $trip and head to the substantial Chinatown that few tourists know exists. It's a short taxi ride, which will pay for itself over the $trip prices. If you enjoy Asian food at all, it's a culinary haven. I've been confounded by the Asian groceries there, chock full of delectable California produce and the abundance of Pacific seafood, enough to make me want a kitchenette the next time I'm there. I wanted to eat my weight in Spot Prawns alone from the live tank.
Kabuto is my absolute go to restaurant. Make your reservations a few months in advance.

I'd have to get into a business where I could hide some cash before I could afford these prices...

Come on now. $45 a shrimp sounds like quite a deal.

If you are in Vegas, an hour or two at the table should take care of that
We are headed back out there for my 30th bday in October. Pretty pumped

That's just the attitude Vegas wants you to bring to the table...Have fun!

That's one reason I dislike vegas so much...but for some reason I always end up there.

Been several times. Can't be scared about it, you know the saying. Last time we were there my wife won enough to pay for our trip. I go with the expectation to lose some, but only as much as I predetermine, then if you win, it's that much better. But I agree, that it the mindset that Vegas wants most people to have. It's the ones who have no self control that it hurts. Also, no point in going to Vegas if you are worried about money

i don't hate it, just wouldn't choose to go there if there were other options.
ETA: I don't gamble so that may have something to do with it

China Poblano in the Cosmopolitan.
Trust me.
Decent prices, great food.
It's like a combination Chinese/Taco spot, pretty casual.
Get a few tacos and some Dim Sum or get the Chef's selections for a sampling.

Lotus of Siam is one of the best Thai restaurants in America. The menu contains fare from multiple regions of Thailand. LOTUS OF SIAM MENU I really enjoyed their Salmon Panang.

This.
I could kick myself for listening to my group who didn't want to leave the strip.
Friends live in Vegas. I will be going there next time I go.
