Arrrrrrrsome movie!
No joke. This was a hidden diamond in the rough. Very funny. My four year old loved it but there was adult humor sprinkled throughout. Great acting. Simple heartwarming story.
Same feel as The Way Way Back except not as depressing. It's almost like The Way Way Back if the family was very close and the cheating scandal never occurred.
Delightful little movie.

I'm still cracking up at your Matilda Jane thread

Read the book as a kid. Is the movie worth watching as an adult with no kids?

It was ok. Didn't enjoy it as much as thought I would have. But definitely a movie the whole family can watch.

It's sort of a modern day Dean Jones Disney movie (Million Dollar Duck, That Darn Cat, etc.). Fun for older kids, comfort food for adult minds.
