I love Spiceworks. I use it for our helpdesk. Their forums are great. Their SNMP agent is decent. Check out Spicecorps Baton Rouge

I used Remedy and other flavors while in the military. When I changed jobs, I soon found out about Spiceworks. Not a bad deal for a free solution.

ive used spiceworks daily the past 5 years. State hospital, 60 computers with 130-150 employees. I use them for my online work orders and also taught our maintenance dept how to use it to their advantage.

200+ desktops/lappys, 20 fulltime staff, 150 parttime.

It's good for what it is. We used for a little over six months and it couldn't do what we needed it to. For the meantime it worked for us.

Spiceworks sucks. Glad I sent their emails to spam so they would stop reminding me how much they suck.
