just got one for lunch, I remember everyone talking about Lee's back when I was in high school, but not much since then. the burger was great, $6 for a big cheeseburger, cooked great.

I have never seen Lee's discussed on here, whats the board think?
i think its a good burger for the price, hell its just a flat out good burger

the one on metairie road is the only one i go to, ill check out the airline one whenever im out that way if you say its better.

today it did take them me standing at the counter for about 45 seconds to greet me, the only person in the door. i paid for my food, all while they were talking to each other in spanish. as soon as i paid for it i informed her "you hablo espanol tambien" look on her face was priceless

Don't like onions in my burger, so they are a no go for me.

Agreed. I used to really like Lee's. The old Veterans location next to Lamplighter lounge was the best. I feel like the quality at all of them has fallen off, but never have a good experience on Metairie Rd.

Both? I think there are several.

Hamburgers are average. Awesome onion rings, though.

I was referring to metairie road and the old original. Didn't know they had any more?

Yes near the Wholefoods. I never had any complaints with Lees.

Not sure your age, but this may have been the start of the gourmet burger invasion.

I like Lee's, but there are better choices around now.

I used to go to the one on Vets a good bit when I worked that way, pretty good burgers and shakes imo.

Burgers are decent. Onion rings are garbage.

This. I haven't been to a Lee's in many years but at the time at least they had great burgers.
